Rizong Monastery

Rizong Monastery, established in 1831, is a serene retreat located 73 km from Leh, Ladakh. Known as the "Paradise for Meditation," it belongs to the Gelukpa order and houses about 40 monks who adhere to strict rules. The monastery, with its significant historical and cultural heritage, offers a peaceful environment for meditation and spiritual practices.
